About me
I love teaching and research. For over 15 years, I have designed and taught a wide range of biology courses that emphasize hands-on laboratory work, inquiry-based learning, and other evidence-based pedagogy. The best part of my job is mentoring and supporting the next generation of scientists. I support research experiences for undergraduates because research is an important and transformational learning experience.
